To provide an accurate Islamic experience, Alshamil requires access to certain information:

• Location Data: We request access to your device's precise (GPS) and coarse location. This is used solely to calculate accurate prayer times and the Qibla direction based on your coordinates. This data is processed locally on your device and is not stored on our servers.
• Device Identifiers: We may collect non-personal identifiers (model, OS version) to help us debug issues and improve app performance.

2. Third-Party Services & Advertising

The app uses third-party services that collect data to provide functionality or serve advertisements:

• Google Play Services
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics
• Start.io: Used to show advertisements in the free version. Start.io may collect your device's Advertising ID, device identifiers, IP address, and location data to serve relevant ads. View Start.io's Privacy Policy.

3. Data Retention & Deletion

Alshamil does not store your personal data or location history on external servers. Settings (like your language or calculation method) are stored locally on your device. Because Alshamil does not require account creation or store personal data on external servers, there is no personal user account data to delete.

4. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
